After 200 days, more than 20,000 entries and logging thousands of miles across North America, Harper Industries is proud to reveal the winner of the DewEze 20,000th Bale Bed Giveaway.
During a “live broadcast” at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Luke Thornton, Vice President of Operations, announced Ben Wilfong, a West Virginia native, as the lucky winner. The cattleman will be leaving his 200 head cow-calf operation this summer to visit the Harper Industries’ factory. There, he will get a VIP look of the manufacturing processes and watch as his first bale bed is installed.
The DewEze Bale Bed journey began in 1984 when the 200 Series Pikup debuted at the Kansas State Fair. This first hay bed for farm trucks revolutionized how cattlemen worked in the field. Since then, customers have come to expect decades of durability from the leader in big bale handling equipment, now 20,000 bale beds strong.
DewEze showcased that promise to ranchers, dealers and employees with a series of special events and promotions across North America from August 2016 – February 2017. From tailgates and parades to barbeques and farm shows – it was quite a ride. Harper Industries would like to thank DewEze customers, fans, dealers and employees for their support through this journey.
